In celebration of the UN's decision to make 2012 the International Year of Co-operatives, the International Cooperatives Association commissioned GreenNet and Wave to build and design a special site for the year. In the spirit of cooperation the site draws together content for republishing from stories.coop and thenews.coop.
We integrated the ICA's CiviCRM database of Member Coops so that the directory is fully searchable on the public site. There are blogs, competitions and a fantastic calendar which maps events from around the world and invites members to add their own new ones.
And in the interests of conservation, when it's all over at the end of 2012 ICA re-purposed the site and use it as their permanent new home.
