Broadband hardware

To get connected up to GreenNet Broadband, you will need an ADSL modem as well as microfilters for each BT socket on the line that has equipment plugged into it.

Broadband availability/speed checker in your area

There are numerous broadband providers that offer connections using BTs network infrastructure, and ALL of these providers claim to offer 'UP TO 8 MEG Broadband'. The 'UP TO' bit depends on how far you are from the BT exchange, and since the BT network is relatively dated (running over copper wires), the further away you are, the slower your connection.
