Regular users of GreenNet webmail may be used to seeing a "Stay secure after login" tick-box. Well, of course you want to stay secure, don't you?

And you almost certainly have been using an encrypted web connection (HTTPS) when connecting to email services.  However, Electronic Frontier Foundation have a campaign and tool called HTTPS Everywhere to avoid people accidentally logging in to sites without encryption, so we're planning to remove the non-encrypted version of webmail in the New Year.  This should cause you no problem so long as you keep your browser up to date.  We still support some very old email programs like Eudora: in future those should still work, albeit without the modern encryption standards (TLS) that are now seen as safe.
