Pakistan's official Internet regulatory body has ordered all Pakistani ISPs to block access to YouTube until further notice, claiming that the proportion of “non-Islamic objectionable video” had increased to an unacceptable level. Pakistani bloggers suspect a video showing vote-rigging may also be a cause. Because of configuration issues, the block even affected people outside Pakistan.
