Sustainable Communities Bill passes third reading

Alter four years of concerted campaigning, the Bill, which gives powers and responsibilities to protect local economies and environment, passed committee stage and a debate in the Commons on 15 June. It now needs to get through the Lords, and should do so with promised Government support.
