GreenNet has an exciting opportunity for a new person to join the collective as a Web Developer.

If you are interested in working to turn our client project ideas into websites that support civil society groups and campaigners in their work, and you have previous experience of web development, and would like to work in a small, friendly and supportive working environment with a horizontal management structure, then this is the job for you!

GreenNet is an ethical ISP and web agency, we are a workers collective that has been providing networking tools and services to a client base of activists and civil society organisations, and taking an active role in campaigns for the promotion of communication rights since 1986. Although our origins are in dial-up connectivity and email provision, in the last 15 years we have developed a reputation for excellence in Drupal web development for NGO clients. Our projects are all about responding to the particular needs of the non-profit organisations we work with and delivering the best technical solutions for their work. The web projects team delivers between 10 and 20 new projects a year. These currently include Drupal, CiviCRM and WordPress systems.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds.  We are keen to hear from people who consider themselves under-represented in the software, technology or FLOSS communities – even if they feel they meet only some of our needs.
