Role
Open Rights Group (ORG) is a membership organisation at heart. Founded in 2005 by a group of grassroots activists, we now have over 20,000 members and supporters and 10 local groups across the UK. Our members and supporters inform our policy, power our campaigns and help us bring about change.
Our new “Organisational Strategy” places a premium on an active base of our members, supporters, and activists and our intention is to build a movement of activists, campaigners, and advocates across the width and breadth of the United Kingdom. To help us do that, we’re looking for an experienced Campaigns and grassroots Organiser to lead our critical work in this area.
Digital Communications and Marketing lies at the heart of our campaigning and Grassroots Activism efforts, therefore, the Campaigns and Grassroots Activism Manager will have significant experience in running digital campaigns involving members and supporters.
The Campaigns and Grassroots Activism Manager will report directly to the Chief Operating Officer and will work closely with our Digital Communications Manager and the rest of the team. They will play a leading role in helping our Policy Team to communicate with the public, and engage Parliamentarians through local and national campaigns.
